Job Title : Manager - Event Sales Qualification : Post Graduate preferred Reporting to : Head Events Location : MG Road, Bangalore Job Summary: This is a fantastic opportunity to work with great media brands of Karnataka - Deccan Herald & Prajavani in their Event Sales team. As Manager - Event Sales you will be driving revenue growth through event sales, sponsorships, and strategic corporate partnerships. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring successful event execution. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for corporate and social events. Identify and secure new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and market research. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and key stakeholders. Prepare and present compelling sales proposals and negotiate contracts with clients. Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns to drive event sales. Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless execution of events and client satisfaction. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies. Manage event sales budgets, forecasting, and reporting on sales performance. Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking sessions to enhance business development opportunities. Key Requirements: 7+ years of experience in event sales, business development, or a similar role. Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Should be able to communicate in Kannada. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in print media, radio, or TV industries. Knowledge of sponsorship sales and partnerships. Strong industry network and existing relationships with corporate clients.
