Job Description

CTC: 8 LPA Key Responsibilities: 1. Financial Management: o Oversee all aspects of financial management, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting o Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data and compliance with accounting standards 2. Accounting Operations: o Supervise and manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger. o Review and reconcile financial transactions and resolve discrepancies. 3. Financial Reporting: o Prepare and analyze financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement) and provide regular reports to senior management and stakeholders o Ensure timely and accurate reporting in accordance with regulatory requirements 4. Budgeting and Forecasting: o Develop and manage the budgeting process, working with department heads to establish financial targets and goals o Create financial forecasts to guide decision-making and resource allocation 5. Audit and Compliance: o Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring that financial records are accurate and comply with relevant laws and regulations o Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting and tax laws and implement necessary adjustments 6. Financial Analysis: o Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue growth o Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance 7. Team Management: o Lead and manage the accounting team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations o Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment within the accounting department 8. Taxation: o Manage tax planning and compliance, including income tax, GST, and other applicable taxes. o Coordinate with external tax advisors as needed 9. Financial Systems and Software: o Implement and maintain financial software and systems to streamline accounting processes o Ensure data security and backups for financial records 10. Vendor and Client Relations: o Manage relationships with financial partners, vendors, and clients, including negotiating terms and resolving financial issues Ideal Qualification & Skills: o A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. o Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and relevant software o Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills o Effective communication and leadership abilities o Attention to detail and a high level of integrity Overall Work Experience preferred: o 10 to 15 years’ experience in in accounting and financial management, with a proven track record of progressively responsible roles o Real Estate Experience preferred (not mandatory) Show more Show less
