Job Description

Main Responsibilities: • General accounting: - Responsible for maintaining the financial books and records and preparing financial statements in accordance with accounting standards and Companys guidelines - management of day-to-day keeping, monthly closures and monthly reconciliation - monthly financial reporting and financial statement analysis - Preparation of financial statements - Composing tax and GST/TDS declarations, payments/returns - Managing cash flow and periodic rolling cash flow forecast and reporting/statements - Help manage account payable invoices. Including bank payment to suppliers - Interact, Liase & negotiate with Banks, - Maintain relationships with Tax authorities Accounting Consultants, External Auditors, etc • Controlling: - Carrying out budgeting, controlling and reporting activities - Processing of monthly closures and preparation of periodic reports - Analysis of deviations from the budget and definitions of any corrective actions - Analysis and monitoring of company performance indicators - Development, design and optimization of processes - Analysis of the cost of products and profitability of sales by product/ customer / sector - Analysis of production costs (standard costs, cost centers, tariffs etc ...) - Assist the Group Finance team on financial matters / reporting. Qualifications & experience: - B.Com + CA / CA ( Inter) / ICWA / MBA - Experience in a managerial F&A position in a medium sized manufacturing - Engineering / Auto /Industrial organisation - Knowledge of Indian accounting standards - knowledge of Indian taxation - Knowledge of the main computer applications, particularly Excel, Tally, etc - Experience in working in any ERP systems ( SAP preferred) - Good Written & spoken English skills Age: around 40~ 45 yrs
