Job Title : Manager - Manufacturing (Machine shop & Assembly) Division : Weir Minerals Location : Bangalore Onsite Purpose of Role: Oversee the daily workings of manufacturing operations. Lead a team to plan, manage, and implement order fulfilment delivery schedules to ensure customer requirements and revenue plans are safely met. Maintain the highest standard in safety, quality, production and delivery. Being a Relentless Self-Starter and ready to Make an Impact Now! Leading Managers and all plant operations to ensure correct, accurate and timely completion of production and delivery schedules. Analyses production to determine where improvements may be made which will contribute to plant profitability. Identify opportunities for operational improvements in processes and systems to enhance team performance. Hands on Work experience with site Lean initiatives across the plant to achieve lean level 3. Project Management and Execution. Lean Responsibilities Knowledge and exposure to basic lean techniques, Safety in Process documents and working. Focus Area: Key Performance Indicators Zero LTI & FAI Shop OTD> 99% FPYR>99% OEE>80% Technical Competencies Process Knowledge : Technical Know-how - 6M Knowledge on Safety Standards/ adherence/ Mentoring to team mates Planning and Organizing Trouble Shooting & Customer Focus Communication & Effective Presentation Skills Leadership Skills Behavioral Competencies Builds Trust Communicates Effectively Makes Good decisions Delivers Excellence through others Customer Focus Collaborates Developing People Performance mindset Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture. Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications: Qualification : B E Mechanical with least 12 to 15 years of experience in a manufacturing or production Leadership role is desired. Equivalent experience will be considered. Experience in CNC Machine shop, Assembly processes with continuous improvement environment and Worked in automotive companies is added advantage. Knowledge of ERP is essential. Exposure to fixtures, tooling & people management is desirable. Able to Communicate in both Languages English and Kannada.
