Job Description For own brands and the marketplace, prepares, evaluates, and reports sales, market share, revenue, and profit margin, performance by brand, pack, and state. maintains records of historical and current data, compiles and produces informative reports, and spots patterns for management meetings, monthly evaluations, and quarterly assessments. contributes significantly to the planning, forecasting, budgeting, and review processes. guarantees that data and information are available on time for planning, review sessions, and feedback. Role should have an extensive knowledge of excise laws, policies, and regulations (as needed) for every state, enabling them to understand taxes, tariffs, and levies both inside and outside of state sourcing. possesses the capacity to create price/cost cards and identify opportunities to use price engineering to increase profits and revenues. Core (Technical / operational responsibilities e.g. functional duties, financial mgt., project management) 1. creates and presents a sales dashboard every day, every week, and every month for both primary and secondary sales. 2. Creates and disseminates monthly and quarterly budget versus actual and trend statistics for every company metric. 3. Assembles, disseminates, and works with the supply chain team to guarantee RM/PM availability via the S&OP procedure or another method. 4. Creates presentation decks and planning and review formats for meetings such as management presentations, budget talks, and QCR. 5. Ensures a seamless flow of data and information by coordinating with and leading MIS teams at the state, regional, and unit levels. 6. Develops and automates data reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy. 7. Ensures data integrity, validation, and accuracy across various reporting platforms. 8. Conducts in-depth performance analysis and provides actionable insights for business growth. 9. Supports strategic initiatives by providing key business intelligence and market trend analysis. 10. Collaborates with other teams to enhance reporting tools and dashboards. PEOPLE MANAGEMENT (Responsibility for leading, motivating and developing staff, excludes supervisory responsibilities) 1. assists and mentors MIS teams at the state, regional, and unit levels in gathering and analyzing data. 2. Train internal stakeholders how to use dashboards and analytical tools to their full potential. 3. Collaborates collaboratively with cross-functional teams to match business objectives with data reporting. 4. Promotes an organizational culture of data-driven decision-making. 5. Facilitates knowledge-sharing meetings to help MIS team members advance their careers. DECISION MAKING 1. Determining on important performance metrics and sales reporting formats for business analysis. 2. Analytical tool for evaluation and recommendation to business for better data processing. 3. Analyzing market trends in order to assist in making strategic decisions. 4. Evaluating and improving data collection procedures for precision and effectiveness. 5. Leveraging data insights to find opportunities for revenue maximization and expense optimization. KEY SKILLS REQUIRE 1. Comprehensive knowledge of distribution and sales. 2. Certification and demonstrated proficiency with analytical software such as spss or an equivalent program. 3. Proficiency with Microsoft office and related analytical tools. 4. Driven by self-motivation and results. 5. Strong ability to investigate and evaluate data. 6.
