Preferences for male only Job Summary: The Manager on Duty (MOD) is responsible for overseeing hospital operations during assigned shifts, particularly evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. The MOD ensures smooth functioning of all departments, handles administrative issues, supports patient and family needs, and acts as the point of contact for staff and external stakeholders during non-business hours. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the administrative representative of the hospital during assigned shifts. Monitor and coordinate clinical and non-clinical departments to ensure optimal patient care. Respond promptly to patient, family, or staff concerns, resolving conflicts or escalating issues as needed. Oversee hospital safety, security, and emergency response procedures. Conduct routine rounds throughout the facility to assess service quality, cleanliness, staffing, and safety. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, protocols, and standards. Authorize emergency admissions, discharges, and transfers when required. Maintain communication with the Administrator and department heads regarding significant incidents. Supervise shift handovers and maintain accurate shift reports/logs. Support staff with operational challenges and staffing adjustments. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Hospital Administration, Nursing, or related field (Master’s preferred). 2-3 years of experience in hospital operations, nursing supervision, or administration. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism. Knowledge of hospital protocols, patient care standards, and emergency procedures.
