We are seeking a highly experienced Manager - Operations with a minimum of 15 years of expertise in handling large-scale Compressed Biogas (CBG) projects . This role involves leading plant operations, ensuring process efficiency, optimizing resources, and maintaining regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of CBG production, process optimization, and plant management. Key Responsibilities: 1. Plant Operations Process Management Oversee the daily operations of CBG plants to ensure smooth functioning and optimal performance. Monitor and control key process parameters to maximize gas yield and plant efficiency. Implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for operations, maintenance, and safety. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry best practices. 2. Resource Team Management Lead and mentor a team of engineers, technicians, and operators to achieve operational excellence. Allocate and optimize manpower, equipment, and raw materials for efficient plant functioning. Develop training programs to enhance the technical capabilities of the operations team. 3. Maintenance Troubleshooting Ensure timely preventive and predictive maintenance of all plant machinery and equipment. Diagnose and resolve operational issues promptly to minimize downtime and losses. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for equipment maintenance and repairs. 4. Safety, Compliance Quality Control Implement and monitor safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment. Ensure the plant operates in compliance with government regulations and environmental standards. Conduct regular audits, inspections, and quality checks to maintain operational efficiency. 5. Performance Monitoring Reporting Analyze plant performance data and suggest improvements to enhance productivity. Prepare and present detailed operational reports to senior management. Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to track plant efficiency and cost-effectiveness. 6. Stakeholder Vendor Management Collaborate with external stakeholders, government bodies, and regulatory agencies. Negotiate with suppliers and service providers to ensure cost-effective procurement. Maintain strong relationships with technology providers to integrate industry advancements. 7. Continuous Improvement Innovation Stay updated with the latest advancements in biogas technology and operational practices. Implement automation, digital tools, and best practices to enhance plant efficiency. Identify cost-saving initiatives and process improvements to optimize production. Qualifications Requirements: Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 15 years of experience in plant operations, preferably in Compressed Biogas (CBG) or renewable energy projects. Strong knowledge of anaerobic digestion, biogas upgrading, and process optimization. Experience in managing large teams and handling multi-location operations. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills. Familiarity with government regulations, safety standards, and environmental compliance in the renewable energy sector. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
