We are seeking an experienced and proactive Manager - Product Development to lead our production planning, vendor management, quality control processes and new products developments . This role involves overseeing manufacturing operations, ensuring cost-effectiveness, meeting dispatch deadlines, managing inventory, and improving existing production processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production management, quality control, and vendor coordination, and be committed to driving operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Plan and organize production schedules to meet project deadlines, optimize resources, and ensure smooth manufacturing operations. Lead the manufacturing process, ensuring it runs smoothly, promptly resolving any production issues, and improving existing manufacturing practices. Oversee vendor relationships, manage procurement of raw materials, and ensure that vendors meet quality standards and cost expectations. Implement and monitor quality control processes to maintain product standards and ensure high-quality output. Efficiently manage inventory, ensuring adequate raw materials are available for production without overstocking. Ensure cost-effectiveness in production, negotiating with vendors and suppliers to achieve optimal pricing. Oversee logistics and shipping processes to ensure timely dispatch of products. Support the development and design of new products, collaborating with other departments to bring innovative ideas to fruition. Provide leadership to the production team, ensuring high performance, safety compliance, and continuous improvement in production activities. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering or a related field. 10+ years of experience in production management within the machinery manufacturing industry, including experience in production planning, vendor management, and quality control. Demonstrated expertise in Quality Control processes and Production Planning. Strong understanding of vendor management and cost-control principles. Knowledge of machining and fabrication techniques. Proficient in MS Office Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with internal teams, vendors, and external stakeholders. Ability to handle logistics and inventory management efficiently. Preference for candidates with a motorcycle to oversee operations in different locations.
