Job Title : Manager - R&D Location : Andheri, Mumbai Reports To: Business Unit Head, CT MIN Position Summary: Munters Clean Tech is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to set & direct our R&D Operations in India, focusing on Mass Transfer Technology. This role is integral to the country management team and works closely with global product management and R&D team to ensure alignment with our strategic goals. Key Responsibilities Building the R&D strategy and the team for Clean Technologies (CT) – Munters IndiaLead and manage R&D Team of CT-India, ensuring alignment with our global strategies and local market needs.Setting up a lab and driving mass transfer product development for carbon captureDevelop and mentor a high-performing team of R&D professionals, fostering an innovative and collaborative work environment.Implement global processes and tools within the Indian operations to enhance efficiency and standardization across sites.Drive the automation of development processes through modular product architecture, enhancing productivity and accelerating time to market.Collaborate closely with global product management and R&D teams to integrate India’s initiatives with global technological advancements and product strategies.Oversee project management, ensuring projects are executed effectively, within budget, and meet or exceed quality standards.Spearhead the development and commercialization of new technologies and products, ensuring they are responsive to customer needs and maintain a competitive edge.Establish and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to support product development and enhance operational efficiencies.Manage budgets, forecasts, and resources strategically to optimize financial and operational performance. Desired Profile Proven experience in managing R&D team.Has been leading development before (proactive or self-driven)Experience with testing and verification (way of working)Deep understanding of the technological, competitive, and regulatory environments specific to Clean Technologies or Abatement Industries. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in chemical engineering,Minimum of 10 years of experience in R&D, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.Knowledge of Separation Technology is preferred.
