Manager - Supply Chain Job Objective: The Supply Chain team is fulfilling the market demand for devices Smart Speakers and EDCs. The team is looking to hire a manager to predict the demand and maintain sufficient inventory in the market. The role requires creating forecasting models while assimilating business information from other functions such as sales, marketing, finance, growth and go-to-market teams. The incumbent shall lead the discussion for meeting customer demand with these counterparts in the organization on a weekly, monthly as well as quarterly basis. The role also needs to address inventory discrepancies in various legs of the supply chain, monitor delivery schedules and control inventory losses. The ideal candidate should have experience in Demand Planning, Inventory control, Supply Chain management, handling 3PL partners, Reverse logistics and Stakeholder Management. The role will manage a team of 4-5 Regional Supply Chain Specialists and 1 Sr. Operations Analyst & will report to Senior Manager, Planning and Operations, Supply Chain. Responsibilities: Lead and manage inventory availability including but not limited to Days of Stock (DOS), Inventory leakage, Inventory Aging, E2E TAT Monitor and review supply chain scorecards on a Daily, Weekly, Monthly & Yearly basis Collecting data from internal and external sources on factors known to affect demand, and tweak the dispatch logic to account for randomness Refining existing systems and methods to improve forecasting to better anticipate customer needs Single thread owner for controlling inventory losses Prepare standard operating procedure (SOPs), roll it with stakeholders & drive for 100% adherence Manage & resolve logistics related escalations faced by multiple Sales partners on roles / franchisees/ Freelancers etc. Generate insights to strategize and develop tech products to further optimize the supply chain Set expectations with logistics partners & monitor their performance regularly on First mile, Middle mile & Last mile operations People Management: Monitor roadmaps of the goals and coach team members on a need basis Facilitate data visibility for the sales partners Resolve inventory related queries and escalations of Partners & workforce Connect with different stakeholders on a regular basis to drive business goals Mentor & coach regional supply chain specialists to help them drive inventory goals for their regions Requirements: Graduate / Engineer in any specialization Masters degree Tier-I / Tier-II with specialization in Logistics / Supply chain (Preferable) 5-8 years of experience in supply chain operations of which at least 2 years in Planning and Forecasting Experience in ecommerce/FMCG/FMCD/3PL/Retail/Foodtech Industry Experience in working with cross functional stakeholders Exposure to supply chain tools is preferable Excellent oral & written communication skills Strong analytics & data crunching, logical thinking and quantitative skills Technically obsessed to optimize processes
