Role & responsibilities: Handling engineering & design projects for off-highway / agricultural machines & equipment's. Design and development at the complete aggregate, system and assembly level of machine Structural design of Cutterbar, Headers for combine harvesters/Foragers and their components for strength, stiffness, durability and damage tolerance Should be able to carry out hand calculation for design and validate the design before FEA and Test Very Important: Selection of relevant manufacturing techniques and materials for Cutter bar, Headers for combine harvesters/Foragers and their components Good knowledge of design calculations & generation of concept designs in off-highway / agricultural machines & equipment's structural engineering Hands on experience in CATIA V5/V6, ENOVIA and SAP Good knowledge of manufacturing drawings for sheet metal, casting and plastic components and GDnT/stack-up expertise Knowledge in structures (esp. agricultural machines / combine harvesters / construction equipments). Preparation of BOM's and process documentation Initiate action as per customer requirement to improve quality, manufacturing cost & function compliance with project cost Responsible as an expert for Cutterbar, Headers for combine harvesters/Foragers and their components, in terms of function, cost, quality & delivery timeline Regular interaction with customers in Europe.
