Manger Logistics -Domestic & International B Fouress Company in Hoskote, Bangalore, manufactures turbines and installs electro-mechanical equipment for small hydro power plants in India and overseas. Preferred candidate profile Qualifications: Any Graduation Experience: Minimum 10 to 15 years experience in Logistics operation -Domestic & International. Role & responsibilities. Transportation Identify and float enquiries to logistics service providers. Engage with shipping companies for shipping of materials and equipments. Manage the creation and distribution of routing instructions to ensure optimal costs incurred in logistics. Identify inefficiencies and opportunities for reduction in freight costs and improved material flow. Develop robust processes for effective tracking and inspection of dispatches to minimize pilferage. Ensure procurement of necessary permits. Identify storage space for materials and equipment at project site. Road Survey Engage transporters to conduct a road survey. Collate and analyse results of the road survey. Provide suggestions regarding permissible maximum size and weights to the project team. Management Reporting Ensure timely review of projects along with the team and other involved stakeholders and documenting of MOM & respective action points.
