Job Title: Manual Test Engineer (Building Management System) Location: Bangalore, India Experience: 2 - 4 years Job Description: We are seeking a Manual Test Engineer with experience in Building Management Systems (BMS) to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in manual testing, test case writing, execution, and defect management using tools like Jira. Knowledge of BMS controllers, AHU/VAV/Chillers, and Agile methodologies is a plus. Key Responsibilities: Design, write, and execute manual test cases for BMS controllers and software. Perform functional, regression, and system testing to ensure reliability and performance. Identify, document, and track defects using Jira or similar defect management tools. Work closely with developers and stakeholders to understand requirements and improve testing coverage. Ensure testing aligns with Agile/Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) principles . Conduct field commissioning tests for AHU, VAV, and Chillers (preferred). Continuously improve the manual testing process to enhance efficiency. Required Skills: Mandatory: Manual Testing (Test Case Writing & Execution) Building Management System (BMS) Testing Optional but Preferred: Jira/Test/Defect Management tools Agile/Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) concepts Field Commissioning Experience with AHU/VAV/Chillers Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. 2 - 4 years of relevant experience in manual testing for BMS or similar systems. Preferred Experience: Hands-on experience with Trend IQ528 or similar BMS platforms. Previous exposure to Agile environments and SAFe methodologies .
