We are seeking a talented Manual Tester to join our dynamic team and help us ensure the highest quality standards for our software products. Role Responsibilities Conduct thorough manual testing on web and mobile applications. Design, document, and execute test cases based on project requirements. Identify, log, and track defects using appropriate tools. Collaborate with developers to resolve defects and improve software quality. Participate in product requirement reviews and provide input on clarity and testability. Perform regression testing on existing functionalities. Prepare detailed test reports and communicate results to stakeholders. Maintain records of test results and defect logs. Contribute to the development of testing processes and methodologies. Continuously evaluate tools and technologies to enhance testing efficiency. Participate in design and code reviews to ensure quality is built from the ground up. Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) as needed. Provide support for automation engineers by creating test scenarios. Stay updated with industry best practices and trends in testing. Assist in training new team members on testing processes and tools. Qualifications Proven experience as a Manual Tester or similar role in software testing. Strong understanding of software testing life cycles and methodologies. Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases. Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, etc. Basic understanding of SQL for database validation. Knowledge of Agile testing principles and practices. Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI. Ability to work independently and remotely in a collaborative team environment. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and thoroughness. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to create testing documentation and reports. Knowledge of automation testing concepts is a plus. Degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred. Certification in software testing (ISTQB or equivalent) is a plus. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
