Position Summary The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for the successful operations of the plant which include; general supervision of all phases of production, quality control, equipment maintenance, procurement, receiving, and shipping. Responsibilities also include recruiting, hiring, training personnel, and facility/physical plant upkeep. Key requirements: Experience in production engineering and manufacturing High precision and high accuracy parts Experience in developing new production and manufacturing processes Experience in quality assurance systems Experience in assembling special purpose machines is an added advantage Capable of suggesting machines for the production process, alternative materials, and inspection methods to achieve accuracy and cost reduction Technical and engineering acumen Excellent communication and presentation skills Hands on cutting tools and selection of cutting parameters Hands on special heat treatment processes Exposure and knowledge special surface treatment and coating processes such as anodizing, electroplating, and vacuum plating. Hands on surface finish fits and tolerances Sound knowledge of CNC machine setup, operation, and programming Exposure to the latest fabrication and welding, metal joining processes Experience with jigs and fixtures for manufacturing to meet the accuracy of the parts Understanding and interpretation of engineering drawings, particularly precision components Vast experience with cross functional management Good communication and interpersonal skills Job Features Job Category Engineering Experience 10+ years of relevant tool room experience preferably from industries manufacturing high precision small components Mobile phone, Watch Industry, Electronics precision components, Wearable, Smart Devices and Aerospace.
