To further support the companys regional business growth, our client is looking to hire: Senior Market Research Analyst and Team Leader (based in Bengaluru, India) Organization: Reporting to the Head of Market Development based in Europe, you will play a crucial part in identifying business opportunities India, Southeast Asia, Oceania, and Middle East region identifying growth opportunities, and providing actionable intelligence to drive sales strategies. You will support the regional sales and business development teams in lead generation activities including in depth company and contact information with data-driven insights and market research. Additionally, you will act as the key liaison between regional sales teams and global business intelligence functions, ensuring alignment with overall corporate strategy. Your Responsibilities: Market Research and Analysis: Conduct detailed market research to identify business opportunities in terms of companies and contact information based upon stakeholders brief, customer needs and behavior, and emerging opportunities to support strategic decision-making for the region. Research new applications, markets, industries, and customer segments for business expansion. Sales Support and Business Intelligence: Work closely with the sales team to identify high-potential leads and provide qualification insights. Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to BI team performance and lead engagement in CRM. Research and recommend new tools/technologies to increase efficiency in BI lead generation. Data Analytics and Reporting: Evaluate procedures and ensure data quality in delivering company and contact information to the stakeholders based upon their brief. Provide insights based upon analyses of findings and use appropriate tools for visualization (such as Power BI) and deliver data in clear, actionable formats. Team Management: Manage and develop a team of 2-3 analysts in India. Understand & bridge gaps between the processes, tools, and best practices, oversee team planning, task delegation, execution, and timely delivery of high-quality research and insights to internal and external stakeholders. Proactively seek feedback on the research. Maintain a close collaboration with marketing & sales to oversee BI/marketing projects end-to-end. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, encouraging continuous learning and development in close collaboration with both Marketing and Sales in India and other markets. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with sales, business development, and marketing teams to provide insights that enhance decision-making. Represent the team in global meetings and collaborate with other BI professionals across the organization. Your Profile: Bachelor's or Masters degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 7+ years of experience in market research, business intelligence, or sales support within a B2B environment, preferably in the industrial sector or equivalent experience. 1 to 2 years of experience in supervising or leading a team of researchers is preferred. Business acumen and strong ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets to generate actionable insights Proficiency in market research tools, CRM software, MS Office, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI). Hands-on experience with Excel (advanced), Microsoft Dynamics, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and statistical analysis tools is a plus. Experience or knowledge in lead generation, marketing automation, and legal web scraping tools is a plus. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate data into compelling business narratives. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. Willingness to collaborate with sales teams and travel occasionally for business meetings.
