Job description: Insight Manager Organization: Bridgestone India P. Ltd. Location: Pune (MH) Job Overview: The Insight Manager at Bridgestone India will be responsible for generating insights and conducting analyses across all business units, including PSR, TBR, Retail, and Solution businesses. This role involves industry and macroeconomic analysis, communication research, and insight generation to drive business growth. Key Responsibilities: Insight Generation: Develop and deliver comprehensive market insights that inform business strategies for all business units. Use data analytics to identify market trends, customer preferences, and emerging opportunities. Provide actionable insights to drive business growth and improve market positioning. Industry Analysis: Conduct thorough industry analysis to understand market dynamics, competitive landscape, and industry trends. Monitor and analyze market developments and regulatory changes that impact the tire industry. Prepare detailed industry reports and presentations for senior management. Macro-Economic Analysis: Analyze macroeconomic indicators and their potential impact on Bridgestones business. Forecast economic trends and their implications for the tire industry in India. Provide strategic recommendations based on economic analysis to support business planning and decision-making. Data Analytics and Insight Generation: Utilize advanced data analytics techniques to collect, process, and analyze large datasets. Develop predictive models and business intelligence dashboards using tools like Power BI to uncover actionable insights. Interpret data trends and patterns to provide strategic recommendations for business units. Continuously monitor and refine analytics processes to improve accuracy and relevance of insights. Ensure data integrity and consistency in all analyses and reporting. Communication Research: Conduct research to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing and communication strategies. Analyze consumer behavior and media consumption patterns to optimize marketing efforts. Develop insights that enhance brand communication and customer engagement. Insight Communication: Translate complex data into clear and actionable insights for various stakeholders. Present findings and recommendations to senior management and business unit leaders. Create visually compelling reports and presentations that effectively communicate key insights. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of insights with business objectives. Work closely with marketing, sales, product development, and strategy teams to integrate insights into business strategies. Build and maintain relationships with external research agencies and industry experts. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred. Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in market research, business intelligence, or a similar role, preferably within the automotive or tire industry. Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills. Proficiency with analytical tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar software for data visualization and reporting. Ability to interpret complex data and present it in a clear and concise manner. Strong project management skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
