Master Data Management Team Lead

Job Description

Design, develop, and modify data infrastructure to accelerate the processes of data analysis and reporting. Review master data/information in the system(s) to ensure accuracy and quality. Develop standards of operation when handling and archiving data. Ensure Project, Customer and Supplier Onboarding are accurately setup in the system(s). Maintain data management plans and instructions for operating business systems. Oversee the integration of new technologies and initiatives into data standards and structures. Evaluate the design, selection, and implementation of database changes by comparing them with business requirements and required documents. Assess system performance and make recommendations for hardware, software, and data storage improvements. Support all Business Units when it comes to data management/report. Identify areas for data quality improvements and help to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies. Ensure quality of master data in key systems, as well as the development and documentation of processes with other functional data owners to support ongoing maintenance and data integrity. Manage, analyze, and resolve data initiative issues and manage revisions needed to best meet internal and customer requirements while adhering to published data standards. Assist in data management, governance, and data quality of master data requirements with other functional data owners to ensure functional master data integrity across the operation of financial systems is consistent and meets stated business rules and requirements. Work closely with the business/IT to ensure alignment of master data rules and the operations of the application meet all requirements. Experience 7 or more years of experience in data analysis or finance data related functions. Experience in working with industry standards, regulations, and guidelines in database warehousing and other relevant systems. Skills Advanced Excel knowledge. Understands how to perform pivot tables, Vlookup, and conditional formatting, and other basic macro formulas. Knowledge in Quickbase and Concur Application. Knowledge of ERP systems such as NetSuite (preferred), SAP, or Quickbooks. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Science, Data Management, Computer Science or related field preferred.
