Job Description for Scrum Master Job Title: Scrum Master Location: Bangalore, Hyderabad or Chennai. Mostly a remote position Job Type: Full-time / Contract Reports To: Engineering Manager Job Overview: We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master with a strong Agile mindset to support and enhance our development teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating Scrum events, improving team processes, and fostering collaboration between teams and the Product Owner. Additionally, they will assist the Engineering Manager with status reporting and updating project plans to ensure smooth execution and delivery. Key Responsibilities: Scrum Facilitation & Agile Coaching Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Promote Agile best practices to foster a culture of continuous improvement. Support the team in becoming self-organized and high-performing. Process Improvement & Team Flow Identify and address bottlenecks in team workows to enhance eciency. Use Agile metrics (velocity, cycle time, etc) to support continuous improvement. Encourage transparency and knowledge sharing within and across teams. Improving Communication Flow Enhance collaboration between teams and the Product Owner to ensure clear priorities and requirements. Facilitate effective information exchange between development teams and stakeholders. Ensure alignment between teams on dependencies and deliverables. Support to Engineering Manager Assist in preparing status reports, sprint updates, and roadmap alignment. Track team deliverables and dependencies, ensuring alignment with business goals. Support capacity planning and resource allocation based on team workload. Qualications and Skills: Experience: 3+ years as a Scrum Master in Agile software development environments. Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, LeSS). Experience working with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. Agile Expertise: Deep understanding of Agile principles, Lean thinking, and team dynamics. Prociency with Agile tools (Jira, Conuence, etc.). Soft Skills & Leadership: Strong facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to drive continuous improvement and foster a positive Agile culture. Certications (Preferred but not required): Certied Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
