We are specifically looking for candidates with direct experience in Transformers or Switchgear, with a minimum of five years in the field. Preferred candidates should come from companies such as: ABB, Siemens, Schneider Electric, AVEVA, ETAP, PLANON, Rockwell Automation, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, GE, Hitachi, El Sewedy Electric, and Alfanar. Mechanical Design Engineer Distribution Transformer Location : Chennai India Level : Design Engineer Experience : 5 yrs Job Description: Transformer Mechanical Design up to 5 MVA, 33 kV Class Transformers & Substations. Preparation & checking of drawings, Bill of Materials & Technical Submittals. Preparation & checking of complete manufacturing fabrication drawings & Bill of Materials. Communication, implementation of new techniques and involvement in development activities. Planning drafting work to meet production schedule & customer submittals. Communication with Sales, Purchase, Production, Quality Assurance departments and customers. Work Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in Transformer Design of any Transformer manufacturing company. Required Skillset: Knowledge in AutoCAD, Pro-E, Inventor, FoxPro, and MS Windows. Awareness of QMS, EMS Policies and Standards ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015. Awareness of Safety and Procedures. Good communication and supervision skills. Education: BS/BE/BTech Mechanical Engineering
