Job Description: We are looking for a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, product development, and CAD modeling. The role requires expertise in 3D modeling, prototyping, and manufacturing processes. The candidate will be responsible for developing innovative solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful execution of product designs from concept to production. Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of mechanical components and systems. Create and refine 3D CAD models and detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Develop prototypes and iterate designs based on testing and validation. Perform tolerance analysis and apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to designs. Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility and optimize production processes. Design for Critical small Mechanical Components of Sophisticated Machines. Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and failure analysis for design improvements. Ensure designs comply with quality and regulatory standards. Prepare technical documentation and reports for design iterations and testing results. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in mechanical design. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. The hands-on experience required between 1-5 Years in Mechanical Design. Hands-on experience with AutoCAD & SolidWorks for mechanical design. Proficiency in Design for Manufacturing & Assembly (DFMA) principles. Experience in Prototyping, 3D Printing, and Additive Manufacturing. Knowledge of Lead Screw, Chain Drive, and Power Drive Selection (Motors & Engines). Familiarity with Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems Design and Fabrication. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Special Purpose Machine (SPM) Design. Expertise in Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA). Experience in Project Timeline Generation and Tracking. Ability to perform 3D Rendering and Visualization of Designs.
