Produce detailed product designs and ensure alignment with project goals, company standards, and client needs. Technical Documentation Create, review, and maintain technical documentation including CAD drawings, reports, and design specifications. Oversee and support the preparation of technical documents required for internal and client projects. Project Planning & Coordination Develop and execute detailed project plans, ensuring that all project milestones are met according to the specified timeline and budget. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Project Managers to ensure accurate allocation of engineering hours for all internal projects. Product Testing & Quality Control Conduct rigorous testing of mechanical products and systems to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. Lead the implementation of quality control programs, ensuring adherence to best practices throughout the development process. Client Interaction Present mechanical design solutions and project progress to clients and stakeholders, ensuring that requirements are met. Provide technical support and guidance to clients as needed throughout the lifecycle of the project. Equipment & System Surveys Perform field surveys on existing equipment and mechanical systems to assess performance and identify potential improvements. Mentorship & Leadership Review and validate CAD project drawings created by junior engineers to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with project specifications. Mentor and support junior engineers, providing guidance on best practices and technical challenges. Data Management & Reporting Ensure the accurate logging of data on-site and the documentation of project progress. Prepare comprehensive reports for internal review and external clients, maintaining up-to-date project and equipment records.
