Salary Offer : 3.5 - 4 LPA Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Fitter Location: Samlaya, Vadodara Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter with a minimum of 4 years of experience in mechanical maintenance and preventive maintenance . The ideal candidate should hold an ITI (Fitter) qualification and have a strong background in mechanical systems, specifically in the maintenance and servicing of industrial pumps and seals. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a factory setting, preferably in the FMCG sector , and should possess solid knowledge in fabrication and preventive maintenance practices. The candidate must be flexible to work in any of the 3 shifts as per operational requirements. The candidate must arrange their own transport to the factory. Key Responsibilities: Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair various types of industrial pumps and mechanical seals . Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life. Perform fabrication work as needed for modifications, repairs, or upgrades of mechanical systems. Maintain detailed maintenance records, including service logs, repair history, and inventory usage. Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all maintenance activities. Collaborate with operations and production teams to resolve mechanical issues promptly. Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurring issues. Monitor equipment performance and suggest improvements for efficiency and reliability. Be flexible to work in any of the 3 shifts (Morning, Afternoon, or Night). Requirements: Qualification: ITI Fitter Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in mechanical maintenance and preventive maintenance . Industry Preference: Experience in an edible oil plant or FMCG factory is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems , bearings, gearboxes, and mechanical components. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and manuals. Hands-on experience with welding, grinding, and fabrication is a plus. Awareness of safety standards and industrial best practices.
