Should be able to read engineering drawings and understand tolerances. Ensures that all components are assembled correctly as per drawings. Should be well versed with tools, machine nomenclature and safety practices. Maintains accurate records regarding work performed at each stage of production. Works closely with other technicians to ensure quality is maintained throughout the machine build process. Should have knowledge of pneumatic and trouble shooting in circuits. Keeping a clean and tidy workspace all the time - 5S knowledge is important. Meeting all safety requirements of the company and industry standards. Identifying any defective items and handling them according to company procedures. To identify root cause for failures and propose correctives.
