Associate expertise will be instrumental in planning strategic procedures, improving work processes, and ensuring customer satisfaction. JOB RESPONSIBILITY Set clear objectives, define roles and responsibilities and ensure each team member aligns with the team s vision. Communicate expectations, goals and feedback to the group regularly and resolve any concerns or issues actively. Identify and address conflicts early, facilitating discussions and finding satisfactory solutions for all parties involved. Recognise and reward good performance, provide feedback and encourage professional development. Support team members professional development by providing opportunities for training and growth. Ensure team compliance with company policies and procedures. Support and guide team members to ensure they meet their individual targets and KPIs. Generate reports on team performance and provide regular updates to senior management. Analyze coding trends and identify areas for improvement in the coding process. Maintain effective communication with healthcare providers, clinicians, and billing teams to clarify coding-related matters and resolve issues. Attend internal and external meetings within and/or outside of regular business hours. QUALIFICATION Bachelor s degree from a recognized University equivalent that required 3+ years of formal studies. Current Coding Certification (CPC, CPC-P, CPC-H, CPC-I, CRC, CCS, RHIT, RHIA etc.) through AAPC and/or AHIMA. EXPERIENCE Total 7+years with proven experience in reviewing of clinical documents, assigning appropriate medical codes for diagnoses, procedures, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and insurance requirements. SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES Review medical records and assign accurate diagnostic codes for HCC risk adjustment and Procedural coding. Strong knowledge on medical terminology, anatomy and Physiology. Adhere to coding guidelines and industry regulations (CMS, AMA, AHIMA, AAPC). Maintain compliance with HIPPA and other healthcare policies. Adaptable to change in business requirements. Proactive approach in identifying and mitigating risk related to coding and Associates.
