The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of medical concepts, particularly at the level required for medical school or professional practice. The role involves working with multi-modal data (text, medical imaging, simulations, etc.), so familiarity with various formats is crucial. You should be capable of analyzing complex medical cases, providing clear explanations, and working efficiently under time constraints. What does day-to-day look like: You would spend time solving a variety of advanced medical problems, including those at the medical school or professional level, and creating detailed explanations. Youll also be working with multi-modal data, integrating text with medical images, simulations, and visual aids. Here are a couple of examples of the types of tasks you might encounter: Diagnostic Analysis: Review a complex patient case, analyze symptoms, and propose a diagnosis, supported by explanations and relevant medical imaging (e.g., X-rays, MRIs). Medical Pathophysiology: Explain the underlying mechanisms of a disease, utilizing diagrams, charts, and simulations to illustrate key concepts. Clinical Decision-Making: Solve clinical scenarios involving patient management, including the interpretation of lab results and imaging, and explain the rationale behind the chosen course of action. Requirements: Medical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of medical concepts, including anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and clinical medicine at the medical school/professional level. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to approach complex medical problems systematically and creatively. Explanation Skills: Capacity to break down medical concepts into clear, understandable steps, supported by relevant visual aids and simulations.
