What You ll Do: Design and build search tools that quickly retrieve relevant information from vast amounts of data using technologies like Elasticsearch. Develop recommendation systems that suggest relevant products, features, or content based on user behavior and preferences. Build and maintain APIs and connectors to seamlessly integrate search and recommendation functionalities into the broader platform. Optimize data indexing, query performance, and relevance ranking to ensure fast and accurate results. Architect and implement distributed systems capable of handling large-scale, multi-tenant environments. Collaborate with product, AI, and infrastructure teams to align system capabilities with business goals. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field. Proficiency in software development with experience coding in C, C++, Java, or Golang. Strong understanding of memory and performance optimization techniques. Familiarity with agile development processes in both theory and practice. Creative problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to innovation. Preferred Qualifications: Experience building and optimizing search and recommendation systems. 5+ years of programming experience with at least two of the following languages: C, C++, Java, Golang, Python. Expertise in microservices-based scalable architectures. Background in building and operating large-scale systems in multi-tenant environments. Knowledge of relevant tools and frameworks like Elasticsearch, Apache Solr, Redis, Kafka, or similar.
