MEP Engineer - Hospitality industry candidate for Lonavala Maintenance, MEP Engineer Job Description: Job Summary: Della Adventure & Resorts is seeking an experienced MEP Engineer to oversee the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems within our luxury resort and adventure park. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in managing MEP operations in hotels or resorts, ensuring seamless functionality, energy efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities: Mechanical Systems: .Oversee the maintenance and operation of HVAC systems, chillers, boilers, and ventilation systems in guest rooms, banquet halls, restaurants, and recreational areas. .Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to optimize system performance. Electrical Systems: .Manage electrical distribution, backup power systems (DG sets), UPS, and lighting solutions across the resort. .Ensure energy efficiency and implement sustainability initiatives. .Troubleshoot electrical failures and coordinate repairs with the maintenance team. Plumbing & Water Systems: .Maintain water supply networks, sewage treatment plants (STPs), and water treatment plants (WTPs). .Ensure proper functioning of bathroom fittings, pools, fountains, and other water-based amenities. .Address plumbing issues promptly to maintain guest satisfaction. Fire Safety & Compliance: .Ensure proper functioning of fire alarm systems, sprinklers, smoke detectors, and emergency evacuation systems. .Conduct fire safety drills and compliance audits as per local regulations. Project Management & Vendor Coordination: .Supervise MEP-related projects, renovations, and installations within the property. .Liaise with external vendors, contractors, and consultants to ensure quality service delivery. Operational Efficiency & Reporting: .Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for MEP equipment. .Maintain logs, reports, and documentation for compliance and audits. .Train staff on MEP system troubleshooting and best practices. Qualifications & Requirements: .Bachelor s degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering. .7-8 years of experience in MEP engineering within the hospitality industry (Hotels & Resorts). .Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical distribution, fire safety, and plumbing networks. .Familiarity with energy-saving initiatives and sustainability practices in hotels. .Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. .Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
