MEP Senior Manager/ Design Coordinator

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled MEP Design Coordinator with extensive experience in coordinating, planning, and executing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) projects. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of project management principles and be able to seamlessly integrate engineering designs with construction processes to ensure timely project delivery while maintaining high-quality standards . Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain MEP project schedules, including detailed timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. - Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align project objectives and ensure an integrated approach to MEP planning. - Perform regular monitoring of project progress, identifying potential delays and proposing corrective actions to keep the schedule on track. - Prepare and analyze reports related to project performance, resource utilization, and compliance with deadlines. - Participate in design review meetings, providing insights and recommendations to improve the feasibility and constructability of MEP systems. - Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials and services, minimizing disruptions to project schedules. - Facilitate communication between on-site teams and the management to ensure clarity of MEP requirements and adherence to specifications. - Identify risks associated with MEP execution and develop mitigation strategies in collaboration with project leads. Key Skills - Proficient in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) and relevant engineering tools. - Strong knowledge of MEP systems, design principles, and standards, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing codes. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to assess complex issues and contribute to continuous improvements. - Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, allowing for effective prioritization of tasks in a dynamic environment. - Strong communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders. - Experience in contract management and negotiation with vendors and subcontractors. - Familiarity with building information modeling (BIM) and its application in MEP systems planning and management
