Job Description Merchandiser (Furniture Export) Job Title: Merchandiser Furniture Export Experience: 3-6 Years Location: Jodhpur Industry: Furniture Manufacturing & Export Key Responsibilities: 1. Product Development and Design: Collaborate with designers and sample development teams to create new furniture and handicraft products. Ensure designs align with market trends and customer preferences . Oversee prototyping and sampling processes , ensuring adherence to quality standards and deadlines . 2. Production Planning and Coordination: Coordinate with production teams to ensure smooth and timely execution of manufacturing. Monitor production progress and address issues or delays promptly . Escalate major concerns to the Sales Director or Head of Department (HOD) when necessary and keep buyers informed. 3. Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, handling inquiries and resolving issues. Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with key customers. Collect customer feedback to drive product improvement and enhance satisfaction. 4. Market Analysis and Strategy: Track market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences in the furniture and handicraft industry. Identify emerging market opportunities and potential risks. Develop strategies to expand market reach and drive business growth . 5. Compliance and Documentation: Ensure accurate export documentation and compliance with trade regulations. Work with relevant departments to facilitate audits and inspections by regulatory authorities. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience: 3-6 years in furniture manufacturing and exports . Strong knowledge of product development, costing, and supply chain management . Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills . Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems. Ability to handle multiple orders and meet strict deadlines .
