Job Title: MERN Stack Developer Location: Mumbai or Pune (On-site) Employment Type: Full-Time Experience: 6 years Job Overview : We are looking for a highly skilled MERN Stack Developer with 6+ years of experience to join our team and take ownership of designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications. The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of MongoDB , Express.js , React.js , and Node.js (MERN Stack), with a strong understanding of full-stack development principles. This position will involve both front-end and back-end development, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the applications are responsive, reliable, and performant. Key Responsibilities : Design, develop, and deploy full-stack web applications using MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js). Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following industry best practices. Build RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services. Develop and maintain front-end user interfaces using React.js with Redux for state management. Implement backend solutions using Node.js and Express.js for seamless data handling and user authentication. Utilize MongoDB to design and optimize database schemas and queries. Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement responsive and intuitive designs. Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and performance. Write unit and integration tests using testing frameworks like Jest , Mocha , or Chai . Maintain version control using Git , collaborating in an Agile/Scrum environment. Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, application errors, and performance bottlenecks. Participate in code reviews and follow best practices to ensure clean, maintainable code. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and frameworks to continuously improve the development process. Provide mentorship to junior developers and contribute to the overall technical growth of the team. Required Skills : 6+ years of experience in developing full-stack web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js). Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5 , CSS3 , and RESTful API development. Experience with React.js and Redux for state management and component design. Strong proficiency with Node.js and Express.js for building back-end applications. Expertise in database management with MongoDB , including schema design, query optimization, and indexing. Experience in authentication (JWT, OAuth, Passport.js) and building secure web applications. Familiarity with front-end build tools like Webpack , Babel , and NPM/Yarn . Proficiency in writing unit tests using testing frameworks like Jest , Mocha , or Chai . Experience working with version control systems (Git). Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Trello, etc.). Experience in creating and managing CI/CD pipelines for application deployment. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS , Azure , or Google Cloud for deploying applications. Preferred Skills : Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration. Knowledge of front-end testing frameworks such as Cypress or Enzyme . Experience with GraphQL for building flexible APIs. Familiarity with server-side technologies like Nginx or Apache . Experience with WebSocket for real-time applications. Understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns. Experience with Typescript for both front-end and back-end development.
