Plant / Location Akurdi BU /Function / Department R&D Level / Grade L3 Designation Asst Manager 1 Job Title Component Development 2 Reporting to Div Manager (R&D-CD) Team Handling Individual Contributor 3 Educational Qualification Degree in Engineering , Post-graduation in Materials Management desirable. 4 Age Minimum: 23 Maximum: 28 5 Experience Minimum: 2 Maximum: 5 Preferred Exposure : Component development , Vendor Development , Purchase , SCM. 6 Job Responsibilities Role: Development of Components for New Projects through Vendors. Responsibilities: Development of Proprietary Vehicle components for Motorcycle & CV Projects as per Project timelines. * Preferable Experiance in Development of Aluminium Casting componenets with machining knowledge. (Components like Locks , CNG / LPG systems, Brakes, Fork & Shock Absorbers, springs , cables) End to End responsibility for Quality , Cost , Delivery of the Component. 7 Competency Requirements Technical/ Functional: Knowledge of manufacturing processes Casting , machining , Rubber molding & Assembly / Testing . Zero based costing of components . Supply Chain Management and Vendor Development Desirable: Knowledge of tools , jigs and fixture design and costing , TPM , PPAP , APQP, SAP.
