Job Description

We are seeking a mid-level Azure API Management (APIM) Specialist to join our team in Trivandrum. This role is ideal for professionals with around 5 to 8 years of experience in cloud technologies, particularly in Azure services, API lifecycle management, and SQL/data warehousing. The selected candidate will play a key role in architecting, developing, and maintaining API solutions, ensuring alignment with business and technology goals. Experience Required: 5–8 years (Mid-Level Position) Location: Remote This is a remote position ; however, we are looking for candidates who are based in Kerala and can travel to Office, Trivandrum on short notice if needed. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement solutions using Azure API Management (APIM) . Manage the full API lifecycle , including creation, versioning, monitoring, and deprecation. Collaborate with development teams to design APIs that meet technical and business requirements. Optimize API performance through testing, monitoring, and tuning for high availability and scalability. Implement and enforce security best practices for APIs, including authentication, authorization, and rate limiting. Integrate APIs with Azure services , third-party platforms, and internal systems. Work closely with stakeholders to define, document, and implement API strategies. Provide hands-on expertise in SQL queries and contribute to discussions on data warehousing solutions. Required Skills and Qualifications: 5 to 8 years of professional experience in cloud development, with a focus on Azure. Strong hands-on experience with Azure API Management (APIM) . Working knowledge of Azure DevOps for deployment and CI/CD pipelines. Proficient in SQL and familiar with data warehousing concepts . Solid understanding of API design principles , RESTful services, and integration patterns. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills ; ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Information Technology , or a related field. Preferred (Good to Have): Knowledge of Azure Logic Apps , Functions , and Data Factory . Exposure to data integration pipelines and ETL tools .
