Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Tableau Development: Design, develop, and implement interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports using Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Cloud, focusing on real-time data visualization for CRM, Production, and Marketing data. Data Integration & Modeling: Connect to various data sources (e.g., SQL databases, cloud platforms, APIs) and perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes as needed to prepare data for Tableau. Develop robust data models optimized for performance and scalability. Real-time Dashboarding: Implement strategies and techniques within Tableau to achieve near real-time data refreshes and ensure dashboards provide the most current information for operational and strategic decision-making. Requirements Gathering: Collaborate closely with stakeholders across CRM, Production, and Marketing teams to understand their business needs, key performance indicators (KPIs), and reporting requirements. Data Analysis & Insights: Analyze complex datasets, identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, and translate findings into clear, concise, and actionable insights for non-technical audiences. Performance Optimization: Optimize Tableau workbooks, dashboards, and data sources for maximum performance and efficiency, especially with large volumes of real-time data. Data Governance & Quality: Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity within all Tableau solutions. Implement best practices for data governance and security, including row-level security. Documentation & Training: Create comprehensive documentation for dashboards, data sources, and processes. Provide training and support to end-users to maximize their adoption and utilization of Tableau. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest Tableau features, industry best practices, and BI trends. Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in our data visualization and reporting capabilities. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field. 2-5 years of hands-on experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Management Information Systems (MIS) roles. Proven expertise in Tableau Desktop for dashboard development is essential. Experience with Tableau Server/Cloud administration and deployment is highly desirable. Strong understanding of database concepts (SQL, data warehousing, ETL processes). Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries. Demonstrated experience working with real-time or near real-time data feeds and implementing solutions for continuous data visualization. Familiarity with CRM (e.g., Salesforce), Production/Operations (e.g., ERP systems), and Marketing (e.g., Google Analytics, advertising platforms) data structures and common KPIs. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language and effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. A proactive, self-starter attitude with a strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies.
