Job Description

1. Strategize and plan: - Help develop the overall IT strategy to support the business goals. - Identify new technologies that can give the company an advantage. - Work with different teams to understand how technology impacts the organization. 2. Manage information systems: - Oversee the design, development, and operation of the company's IT systems. - Ensure the IT infrastructure (hardware, software, networks) runs smoothly. - Lead and coordinate the IT team's activities. 3. Handle data effectively: - Create policies for data collection, storage, and security. - Analyze data to provide insights that guide business decisions. - Maintain the reliability and accessibility of the company's data. 4. Manage vendors and contractors: - Select the right technology providers to meet the company's needs. - Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and service providers. - Monitor and evaluate the performance of external partners. 5. Ensure compliance and manage risks: - Ensure the company's IT systems comply with relevant laws and regulations. - Identify and address potential risks to the IT infrastructure and data. - Develop and implement plans to protect the company's critical systems and data.
