Here s a quick breakdown of the key responsibilities and skills for this role: Key Responsibilities: Model Development Testing : Build and test ML models to address organizational problems. Model Deployment Monitoring : Automate deployment, manage real-time and batch inference, and monitor model performance. Infrastructure Development : Design and maintain scalable ML pipelines and workflows using cloud platforms. Collaboration : Work closely with data scientists and software engineers to integrate ML systems. Performance Optimization : Optimize ML pipelines for efficiency, addressing latency, throughput, and reliability. Compliance Security : Ensure ML systems adhere to security and compliance standards. Tooling Automation : Implement tools like Kubernetes, Docker, and MLFlow, and automate CI/CD pipelines for ML workflows. What to Expect: This is an individual contributor role, focused on hands-on work. The role involves close collaboration with data science and ML teams, as well as development of in-house MLOps systems. The team is distributed across the US, UK, and India, with flexible working hours and some overlap in the UK time zone. The initiative is led by an experienced leader with 15+ years in AI/ML, engineering, and DevOps. Required Technical Skills: Programming : Strong Python skills (preferred), or other languages. Big Data Tools : Experience with Apache Spark, Hadoop, Hive, etc. Databases : Familiarity with RDS, DynamoDB, Redshift, Aurora. ML Frameworks : Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn. Cloud Platforms : Proficiency in AWS, Azure, GCP. Containerization Orchestration : Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Data Engineering : Familiarity with Apache Spark, Kafka. Version Control : Knowledge of Git.
