Job Title: Mobile Engineer (Flutter – SDE 1) Location: Ahmedabad Experience Level: 1+ Years About the Role We’re looking for a curious and motivated Flutter Developer (SDE 1) who’s excited to build beautiful, high-performance mobile applications. You’ll be working with our experienced team to develop cross-platform apps for iOS and Android using Flutter and Dart. This is a fantastic opportunity for early-career engineers to grow their mobile development skills and work on real-world products in a supportive environment. Key Responsibilities · Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter and Dart. · Implement responsive user interfaces and adaptive layouts following mobile UI/UX best practices. · Use Flutter widgets, navigation, and state management tools (e.g., Provider, Riverpod, or Bloc) to build feature-rich applications. · Integrate RESTful APIs and handle asynchronous programming using Futures, async/await, and Streams. · Participate in collaborative development workflows using Git and code reviews. · Write clean, maintainable code with a focus on readability and reusability. · Debug apps using Flutter tools like Hot Reload, DevTools, and performance profilers. · Contribute to unit or widget testing efforts to ensure code stability and reliability. · Work closely with designers, backend engineers, and product teams to build features end-to-end. · Stay up-to-date with Flutter ecosystem updates and emerging best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications · 1–2 years of professional software development experience, with at least 1 year in Flutter. · Strong understanding of Flutter fundamentals, including widget trees, navigation, and layout systems. · Familiarity with state management solutions like Provider, Riverpod, or Bloc. · Experience building and deploying Flutter apps for both iOS and Android. · Understanding of asynchronous programming concepts in Dart. · Basic knowledge of UI/UX design principles, responsive layout techniques, and accessibility standards. · Proficient with Git and collaborative version control workflows. · Familiarity with debugging, hot reload, and performance profiling tools in Flutter. · Ability to write simple unit or widget tests and understand test-driven development basics. · Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented attitude. · Willingness to learn, adapt, and take feedback positively. Good to Have · Experience with Firebase, SQLite, or other local data storage options. · Exposure to Flutter Web or Flutter Desktop. · Understanding of native code integration with Swift, Kotlin, or Objective-C. · Experience publishing apps to the Play Store or App Store. · Awareness of Material Design, Cupertino widgets, and accessibility best practices.
