Job Description Position : Key Account Executive Modern Trade (Adhesives) Company : Astral Adhesives Limited Locations : Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Delhi Experience Required : 2-5 years in Modern Trade or Channel Sales , preferably in Adhesives, Building Materials, or Hardware industry About the Role: Astral Adhesives is looking for dynamic and experienced Key Account Executives to drive growth in the Modern Trade channel across major metro cities. The candidate must have experience managing sales and operations with large-format retail stores, and should come from a background in adhesives, hardware, or related building material categories . Key Responsibilities: Modern Trade & Key Account Management: Handle major modern trade clients and chains dealing in adhesives, hardware, or building materials. Manage listing, pricing, inventory, and promotional activities in key retail chains. Ensure timely order fulfillment and stock availability across locations. Sales Growth & Channel Expansion: Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets through active store management. Drive secondary sales and monitor SKU-wise performance. Work closely with distributors for timely supply and billing coordination. Product Visibility & Merchandising: Implement visibility drives, planograms, and branding initiatives in-store. Ensure adherence to company merchandising guidelines and shelf hygiene. Organize in-store activations, demonstrations, and promotions to drive engagement. Market Intelligence & Reporting: Track competitor activity, pricing, and promotional strategies. Generate and analyze daily/weekly sales and stock reports. Provide insights to the marketing and product teams for decision-making. Key Skills & Attributes: Prior experience in adhesives, construction chemicals, hardware tools, or related sectors Strong relationships with modern trade partners in the region Understanding of product movement, shelf-space management, and scheme execution Proficiency in Excel, reporting tools, and good communication skills Willingness to travel and manage multi-city operations if needed Qualifications: Graduate or MBA in Sales/Marketing 2-5 years of experience in Modern Trade or Institutional Sales Experience in the adhesive or hardware industry is mandatory/preferred Apply Now: Send your updated resume to ramesh.chaudhary@astralltd.com or contact via WhatsApp at 8353912032
