In this role, you will assist suppliers in manufacturing issues on Moog parts and Assemblies or Supplier IP parts and Assemblies. You will also work with suppliers to establish the most efficient techniques to manufacture parts to print using manufacturing techniques that ensure quality. You will be an active participant in the Moog Supply Chain transformation as we embrace AS9145 on our zero defects journey. This position is based in Torrance, CA. As a Sr. Manufacturing (Supplier Development) Engineer, you will Support the fabrication of complex machined parts and sub-assemblies by providing technical expertise and support for suppliers. Prepare part risk assessments and conduct them with the suppliers. Review manufacturing processes to insure they will yield parts compliant to engineering drawings and specifications. Coordinate with various departments and team members to understand design intent and communicate design intent to the suppliers. Review suppliers manufacturing capabilities.
