School : OWIS Campus : Sarjapur Country : India Qualification : B.P.Ed OverView : An MYP PHE (Physical & Health Education) Teacher in an IB school fosters physical fitness, well-being, and personal development through an inquiry-based approach to sports and health education. They encourage students to develop motor skills, teamwork, and a lifelong appreciation for an active and healthy lifestyle while aligning with IB's holistic learning philosophy. Responsibility : Curriculum Delivery & Skill Development: Plan and implement engaging, inquiry-based Physical and Health Education lessons that develop students’ motor skills, teamwork, and understanding of health and well-being. Student Engagement & Well-being: Promote sportsmanship, leadership, and a balanced lifestyle while ensuring a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students. Collaboration & School Events: Work with colleagues to integrate IB principles into PHE, organize sports activities, tournaments, and fitness programs, and contribute to the overall physical development of students.
