Role & responsibilities To undertake research and produce MI to assist Underwriters with delivery of product features, underwriting approach, terms,validation controls, mapping rules and customer experience across all distribution channels to support strategic aims.To systematically review and make recommendations to enhance:- Product features to ensure they are competitive and meet customer expectations- Underwriting/mapping rules, terms and/or validation or payment controls across channels to improveprofitability and expand footprint. To identify opportunities and make recommendations to improve customer journey across channels (for quotes,sales, MTAs, renewals, and upsell/cross-sell), including identifying data enrichments to achieve this. To produce and monitor market insight, customer feedback and product/control performance MI to support theabove activities. To contribute to project works-streams when required, including conducting research. To assist with reviews and technical approval of changes to call guides, web pages and marketing messages (so readyfor Underwriting/Product Manager sign off), ensuring clarity of customer communications and policy terms. To assist with and suggest amendments to enhance policy documents where appropriate, ensuring accuracy andclarity of policy terms. To make product/channel/reference data updates, and/or to maintain data enrichment systems and controls To act as technical referral point for the business and suppliers, making recommendations on the acceptance of risksand settlement of claims outside of the system rules. To providing basic guidance to Operations (eg Tech Assist) to expand their technical knowledge. To undertake any other underwriting related activities to support the product/underwriting manager or underwritingdirector as necessary.
