ob Title: Network Administrator / Network Engineer (Cisco) Location: S-Vyasa University, RR Nagar, kengeri Employment Type: Full-Time Experience Required: 2–3 Years Industry: IT / EdTech / Corporate Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and proactive Network Administrator / Network Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in managing and troubleshooting Cisco-based networks. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining the stability, integrity, and efficiency of our network infrastructure across multiple locations, ensuring seamless connectivity and uptime. Key Responsibilities: Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, firewalls , and wireless controllers. Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability. Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, and security configurations. Manage LAN, WAN, and VPN connections, ensuring secure and efficient network operation. Collaborate with IT and classroom support teams to provide networking solutions for training labs and virtual classrooms. Ensure network security through firewalls, access controls, and regular audits. Maintain network documentation, including topology diagrams, configurations, and change logs. Respond to and resolve network support tickets in a timely manner. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Cisco network administration or engineering. Strong knowledge of Cisco networking hardware and software. Experience in routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP) and switching technologies (VLANs, STP, EtherChannel). Proficient in troubleshooting Layer 2/Layer 3 network issues. Basic knowledge of network monitoring tools and packet analyzers. Solid understanding of network security practices. Preferred Qualifications: CCNA certification (Cisco Certified Network Associate) is a must; CCNP is a plus. Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure) or software-defined networking (SDN). Familiarity with firewall configuration and security appliances (Cisco ASA, Fortinet, etc.).
