Network Engineer (On Site)

Job Description

Role & responsibilities We are seeking an experienced On-Site Network Engineer to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the companys network infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity, and troubleshooting network issues in real time. You will be working on-site at client location and will play a critical role in ensuring the operational efficiency and security of our network environment. Install, configure, and maintain network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. Set up and manage wired and wireless networks, including VLANs, subnets, IP addresses, and routing configurations. Assist in the installation and configuration of network equipment and services in the data center or other locations as required. Provide hands-on support for any network-related issues, including diagnosing and resolving problems with routers, switches, firewalls, and end-user devices. Resolve connectivity issues, slow network performance, or network outages by quickly identifying the root cause and implementing solutions. Support network users, helping them with configuration or connectivity problems that need on-site intervention. Lead or assist in on-site network upgrade or installation projects, working with internal teams and external vendors. Collaborate with other IT teams, including systems administrators, security professionals, and helpdesk staff, to implement network solutions and troubleshoot issues. Provide on-site training to employees about network usage, security practices, and troubleshooting techniques. Preferred candidate profile Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Proficient in configuring and maintaining routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
