Job Description

Role & responsibilities Design & Development: Create innovative farm equipment designs and improve existing products. 3D Modeling & Prototyping: Develop 3D models, build functional prototypes, and perform feasibility analysis (FEA) to validate designs. Material Sourcing/Procurement: Identify and source materials to support product development. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, manufacturing, and procurement teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability. Research & Innovation: Conduct research on materials, components, and the latest industry trends to incorporate best practices. Compliance & Safety: Ensure product designs comply with relevant industry standards and safety regulations. Documentation & BOMs: Prepare detailed technical drawings, documentation, and Bills of Materials (BOMs). Requirements: Education: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in product design and development, preferably in agricultural machinery. Software Proficiency: Strong knowledge of CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar platforms. Domain Knowledge: Understanding of farm equipment functionality, user requirements, and industry standards. Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
