The Tender Executive is responsible for identifying, evaluating, preparing, and submitting tenders, bids, and proposals related to government and private procurement opportunities . This role involves thorough market research, coordination with internal teams, and ensuring compliance with tender requirements to secure business opportunities.Key Responsibilities:Tender Identification & EvaluationMonitor government and private procurement portals for tender opportunities relevant to apparel manufacturing.Analyze tender documents, eligibility criteria, and technical & financial requirements.Conduct feasibility studies to assess profitability and risks before proceeding with bid submission.Tender Preparation & SubmissionCoordinate with internal departments (Production, Quality, Finance, and Legal) to gather required documentation and cost estimates.Prepare technical and financial bid documents in line with tender specifications.Ensure timely submission of tenders, both online and offline, meeting all compliance and procedural requirements.Documentation & ComplianceMaintain and update company profiles, certifications, financial statements, and other documents required for tenders.Ensure all tenders comply with regulatory and statutory requirements.Follow up on tender clarifications, amendments, and pre-bid meetings.Post-Tender ActivitiesTrack submitted tenders and follow up on bid status.Negotiate contract terms and pricing if the bid is shortlisted.Ensure smooth transition of awarded projects to the execution team.Market Research & Competitor AnalysisAnalyze competitors bidding strategies and market trends.Identify new business opportunities and recommend pricing strategies.Relationship ManagementBuild strong relationships with government bodies, procurement agencies, and corporate clients.Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment in bidding strategies.Preferred candidate profile 2-5 years of experience in tendering, bid management, or government procurement processes Knowledge of government e-procurement portals & bidding platforms. The individual will act as the primary point of contact for existing and potential clients, aligning internal teams to meet client requirements and ensuring seamless service delivery. The role involves supplier quality management, defect reduction, compliance with SOPs, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce wastage. Key Responsibilities:1. Incoming Quality Control (IQC):Establish inspection protocols for raw materials (fabrics, trims, accessories).Ensure supplier compliance with quality standards and audit supplier facilities.Reduce raw material rejection rates by improving vendor quality management.Develop corrective action plans for suppliers with high defect rates.2. In-Process Quality Control (IPQC):Implement real-time quality monitoring on the production floor.Reduce in-process defect rate by improving quality at source.Conduct weekly audits to ensure adherence to SOPs and best practices.Collaborate with production teams to reduce rework costs and improve efficiency.3. Final Quality Control (FQC):Pre-dispatch quality inspections to ensure defect-free products.Reduce customer complaints and return rates due to quality issues.Ensure all products meet regulatory and buyer compliance standards.Lead continuous quality improvement initiatives using Lean/Six Sigma.4.
