Job Title: Node.js Developer Job Location: Gurgaon (onsite) Job Type: Full-time Job Description: We are looking for a passionate and experienced Node.js Developer to help us build and scale high-performance payment solutions at Autope. As a key member of our backend team, you will be responsible for developing robust, secure, and efficient APIs and microservices that handle transactions, payment processing, and integration with third-party financial services. Your work will be essential in building the backend infrastructure that powers seamless digital payment experiences for businesses and their customers. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure Node.js backend systems for payment processing and financial transaction management Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate payment APIs and ensure smooth communication between backend services and client-side interfaces Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices for payment gateways, transaction processing, and integrations with third-party payment providers (e.g., credit card gateways, mobile wallets, etc.) Implement robust error handling, logging, and monitoring for payment transactions to ensure system reliability and fast issue resolution Write efficient, maintainable, and secure code following best practices and coding standards Participate in the development and maintenance of automated testing frameworks to ensure reliable, bug-free code Collaborate with the DevOps team to deploy payment solutions, handle cloud infrastructure, and support CI/CD processes Ensure compliance with security protocols and handle sensitive data with care, adhering to industry regulations Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define features, and enhance product offerings Keep up to date with the latest trends and best practices in payment technology, security, and Node.js development Required Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience as a Node.js developer, with a strong understanding of server-side JavaScript development Proficient in developing RESTful APIs and microservices with Node.js frameworks (Express.js, Nest JS, etc.) Strong knowledge of databases MongoDB and optimizing database queries for performance. Experience with asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with complex systems and real-time processing Knowledge of version control systems like Git and CI/CD tools Strong communication and collaboration skills to work within an Agile team environment Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and containerization tools (Docker) Exposure to testing frameworks and tools (Jest, Mocha, Chai) Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerized applications Experience working in a financial or fintech company
