Job Description

PHP and NodeJS Developer We are seeking a talented and motivated PHP and NodeJS Developer with 1-2 years of experience responsible for development and managing API, Web projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in PHP and NodeJS development with primary focus on development of REST APIs, all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. They will also be responsible for integrating the code with front-end elements (Mobile Apps and WebApps) built by team into the application. Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well. Responsibilities: Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP/NodeJS, ensuring high performance and scalability. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Integration of Mobile and Web Applications developed by front-end developers with REST APIs. Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications Implementation of security and data protection Integration of data storage solutions may include databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc. Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices. Debug and resolve technical issues, ensuring optimal system functionality. Participate in code reviews and contribute to team discussions to improve coding standards. Work closely with clients or stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the application of best practices. Skills And Qualifications: 1+ years of experience in PHP and/or NodeJS Development. Proficiency in working with frameworks like Laravel or CodeIgniter, JavaScript Solid understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, server-side CSS, and JavaScript. Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL and writing efficient SQL queries. Familiarity with version control tools like Git. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good understanding of RESTful APIs and third-party API integrations. Excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
