Job Description: Business Development Executive The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for driving the growth and sales of our eCTD submission software tool. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and presenting the software's value proposition to potential clients in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and regulatory affairs industries. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the regulatory landscape, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of selling software solutions. Key Skills: 1. Sales & Revenue Generation: • Drive sales and revenue growth for our eCTD software tool by targeting potential clients within the pharmaceutical, biotech, and regulatory industries. Identify and prospect new business opportunities through research, cold calling, and networking to generate leads and convert them into clients. Qualify leads, conduct needs assessments, and present tailored software solutions that address client pain points related to eCTD submissions. 2. Product Knowledge & Presentations: Gain a deep understanding of the eCTD software tools features, benefits, and differentiators to effectively communicate value propositions to potential clients. Conduct product demonstrations, webinars, and presentations to showcase the softwares capabilities and how it addresses the regulatory needs of clients. Create and deliver customized proposals, pricing models, and contracts to potential clients. 3. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the regulatory affairs, compliance, and IT departments of target organizations. Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the sales process, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to implementation. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client queries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner. 4. Market Research & Strategy: Stay up to date with industry trends, regulatory updates, and market developments to identify new sales opportunities and ensure the software is positioned effectively. Conduct competitive analysis to understand the strengths and weaknesses of competing eCTD software solutions, positioning our product as the best choice. Collaborate with the product development team to provide client feedback and suggest improvements to enhance the softwares capabilities. 5. Sales Pipeline & Reporting: Manage and maintain a robust sales pipeline, tracking opportunities, forecast sales, and achieving sales targets. Provide regular updates on sales activities, opportunities, and progress to the Sales Manager and leadership team. Prepare and present detailed sales reports, including revenue forecasts, key performance metrics, and strategic initiatives. 6. Marketing Collaboration: Participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to build brand awareness and network with potential clients. 7. Contract Negotiation & Closing: Lead negotiations and contract discussions with prospective clients to close sales deals. Ensure compliance with internal pricing policies and legal requirements during the negotiation process. Additional Requirement: • Minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in software development and business development roles, preferably in a B2B environment. • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal. • Strong negotiation and closing skills. • Ability to understand client needs and tailor solutions to address pain points. • Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong organizational and time management skills. • Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets in a competitive environment.
