Role & responsibilities Project safety lead discipline engineering activities/deliverables developments such as HSE/Process safety Philosophy, Fire and Gas Detection layouts, Active & Passive Fire Protection Systems, Hazardous area classification requirement in Basic, FEED & Detail Engineering design of Petrochemical, Refinery, Oil & Gas onshore/offshore process Plants.Process Safety Lead engineering activities for specifying the safety and Loss Prevention Requirements, Carrying out Safety Reviews & Process Hazard Analysis Studies (HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, HAZAN (Consequence analysis) and Risk Analysis /Assessment, HSE/safety CASE Development, HSEIA).Well experienced in Process Plant operation & stabilization, safe start up and shutdown activities, handling of plant trouble shootings and commissioning activities. Also well versed with technical services activities for process safety issues, Project Engineering, vendor co-ordination, Pre-commissioning & Commissioning activities.Process safety incident reporting/evaluation and investigation.Preparation of process safety equipment Data sheet, specification, RFQ documents, Scope of work development for safety engineering studies.Technical Bid Analysis and Vendor Document Review.Proposal preparation, Vendor Evaluation.Familiar with review of software input and output and modelling work.Overall Engineering and vendor coordination, developmental activities, and other Project functions.Conversant with various NFPA, API standards, IEC, IP, Shell Standards, OISD standards, GAP Guidelines.Facilitation of and participation in HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA and other risk management workshops.Providing leadership and quality assurance for deliverables to clients.Demonstrated strong skills in one or more of the following:Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA).Integrating process safety within the design process and/or operating practicesPHA facilitation (HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA, SILA, etc.)Consequence and frequency analysesFault / Event Tree AnalysisQuantitative Risk Assessment (QRA).Authoring Safety Cases, including ALARP demonstrationsBow Tie AnalysisFire & Explosion Analysis.Fire Protection related studies.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to provide advice on technical issues both externally and internally.Adaptable to changing working hour requirements as needed to accommodate project work and client needs in other time zones.The above responsibilities are in brief but not limited to it & other task may be given as per the business requirementsPreferred candidate profile Experience 6 to 8 Years experience in Oil and Gas, Chemicals in EPC or Consultant CompaniesEducation BE Chemical or Environmental Engineering

About The Role: Instrumentation & Control Engineering will be involved in Oil, Gas & Energy projects such as supply and installation of Fired Heaters, Reformers, Process skids mounted packages, Gas processing Plants, Incineration packages, . Taking care of design activities (basic and detailed engineering), as well as the follow up of the schedules. Assist in preparation of data sheets and/or specifications of instruments and control equipment present in the project, including the necessary calculations. Assist in the preparation of diagrams as well as specifications of connection boxes and control/security systems. Assist in the preparation of control and safety diagrams to be implemented in control programs. Assist in the preparation of diagrams and specifications of cables and trays to be considered in the project. Guarantee, promote and maintain adequate communication with the other engineering disciplines. Guarantee, promote and maintain adequate communication with suppliers when defining and resolving the supply of instrumentation and control elements and/or equipment. Control and follow-up of Instrumentation & Control documentation (Customer Requirements, deliverables to Customer and Vendor documentation). To guarantee the proper management of the approval cycle of the Instrumentation & Control documents both with the Clients and the Vendors. To manage and guarantee the preparation of the necessary Instrumentation & Control documentation (technical, scope of supply, scope of works, ) for the procurement process (MRQ, technical annexes, VDDR document, ). With this purpose of proper management of the documentation, proprietary ERP systems shall be the base of these tools. Assist in the Technical tabulations of the Technical Offers received from the vendors of Instrumentation and Control equipment. When required because of technical issues, to attend or manage technical visits to inspect the development of manufacturing of the Supplies related to Instrumentation and control equipment. To manage the assistance in the assembly of elements and/or equipment and during the start-up. To travel internationally when and as required. About Your profile: Master or Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering Bachelor (degree). Preferably Degree in Automation, Instrumentation & Control Engineering , Electronics. Minimum 7 years of experience in similar function. Expertise as Instrument & Control Engineer within International Projects. Experience in companies providing engineering services to the Oil and Gas, Chemical, Refining or Petrochemical Industry. At least six years of experience as Instrumentation & Control Project Engineer at site related to industrial plants. Knowledge and experience in the applicable software of the discipline, and other common software as Autocad and Microsoft Office applications. Expertise of PLC programming of the main international specialist companies (Rockwell, Siemens, ). Expertise in the definition of Oil & Gas Plant Control Architectures. Expertise in SCADA and distributed control system (DCS) systems. Exprtise in Safety Instrumented System (SIS, ESD). Expertise in Machine monitoring systems (MMS). Knowledge in Intools database (Smart Plant Instrumentation), P&IDs. Professional English level.
