Our mission is to ensure creators retain control and benefit from their work, providing comprehensive legal support across copyright, trademark, and IP matters.Job Overview:We are seeking a highly experienced Advocate with over 10+ years of expertise in copyright, trademark, intellectual property rights (IPR), and commercial law. The candidate will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the company's and its clients' IP interests, managing legal risks, and handling high-value agreements.Key Responsibilities:Intellectual Property Management: Handle copyright, trademark, and other IP-related matters, including registrations, renewals, and disputes.Provide legal advice on IP protection strategies for the company and its clients.Litigation and Dispute Resolution: Represent the company and clients in copyright, trademark, and IP litigation cases.Draft legal notices and respond to infringement claims effectively.Contractual Matters: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements, including licensing, distribution, and commercial agreements.Ensure compliance with all legal obligations within agreements.Land Acquisition and Sale: Oversee land acquisition and sale transactions related to the companys operational needs.Conduct due diligence, draft agreements, and manage negotiations.Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations governing IP and commercial transactions.Mitigate legal risks through sound strategies and proactive measures.Advisory Role: Provide legal counsel to internal teams, clients, and stakeholders on complex legal matters.Keep the company updated on changes in copyright, trademark, and IP laws.Qualifications and Skills:Bachelors or Master’s degree in Law (LLB or LLM) from a recognized university.Minimum 10 years of experience in copyright, trademark, IP, and commercial law.Expertise in agreement drafting, negotiation, and review.Proven experience handling litigation and dispute resolution.Knowledge of land acquisition and sale procedures.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to managing legal matters.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in the music, entertainment, or media industry.Membership in a recognized Bar Council.Why Join Us?Be part of a dynamic company at the forefront of protecting creators' rights.Work with industry-leading artists and creators.Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional growth and development.
